Lynne’s passion for art has been lifelong giving her a way of expressing her love of nature which has led to many exhibitions and awards.
In 2002 after having been inspired by the ever changing harbour and surrounds Lynne started the journey to relocate to Coffs Harbour undaunted by constant travel between Sydney and Coffs due to business commitments. Lynne has continued to pursue her passion exhibiting and winning awards from Coffs Harbour to Kiama.
Now happily ensconced in the home built over the last few years which includes a studio embracing panoramic views of Coffs hinterland Lynne is able to express her love of the area through her art.
Lynne’s current body of work encompasses the world she has inhabited during the years of transition and reveals the fragile and rugged bushland of rural Australia as well as the vibrancy and lushness of our coastal environment.
Lynne is currently represented by Purple Noon Art Gallery (Freemans Reach NSW 02 4579 6579) and The Art Factory (Coffs Harbour NSW 02 6658 0300) and welcomes enquiries for further representation.
“Growing up on a farm on the outskirts of Sydney, then living on bush acres at Kenthurst for many years, and most recently moving to Coffs, has developed in me a deep connection to the landscape and nature. Since I was a child my passion for drawing and painting has been my way to express this connection.
My inspiration is drawn from the landscape, memories and photographs. Compositions are derived from shapes, structures and textures left in the ever changing wake of time and progression, as I aim to make a sense of place in all my imagery.”
